Seeing the desperation and concern of residents faced constantly with drug dealing outside their homes, used needles on the streets – learning that Street Cleaning Services have had budgets cut by 60%.
Police have been cut by 30,000 over the UK (200 down in Dorset) and Drug support services have undergone massive cuts too.
People trying to make a difference are restrained by drug law, drug money is laundered across the world, private prisons make money for shareholders and, worst of all, the de-humanisation of vulnerable people caught in the cycle of drug addition and all the fear and danger involved in the illegal drug world.
Things need to change! Other countries have changed laws – SO CAN WE!
