Was Keir Starmer a Tory party selection?

Just a reminder: Keir Starmer does NOT think, despite courts proving corruption, Matt Hancock should resign. Despite investigations showing the Robert Jenrick corruption, Starmer does NOT think he should resign and actually supports the same man either directly taking charge, or indirectly via civil servants/commissioners, of Liverpool council. Starmer also does not think Priti Patel should resign re the Met farce. Starmer does not think Cressida Dick should resign as Chief of police; in fact, he literally covered for her and refused to prosecute others for cold-blooded murder of a completely innocent man, when he was DPP. Starmer also, via DPP position and/or abstentions now, covered and refused to prosecute other murders, and rape and pretty much everything else that is as evil as human kind can be.

He has also openly broken the law, the EHRC, the Labour rules, the PLP rules to such an extent he proudly said it on live radio last week on Radio 2. Oh, and he refused and went against Labour’s legal advice on these matters, he promoted alleged bullies and racists, and has suspended more Jewish members than any leader. Oh, and, of course, he is a literal fascist internally, destroyed the trust completely with the majority of our Black, Muslim, Kashmiri, Asian, Palestinian, Trans, Disabled comrades, who have left in droves. All with almost total media silence and complete impunity.

Now, tell me why you support this? Tell me why you support this abomination? Tell me HOW IS THIS BETTER THAN THE TORIES? Tell how you can stay silent and ignore this? Tell me why it’s not ok for other people to act like this, but it is for Starmer? Finally, if you know all this and STILL support Starmer, tell me this: What. The. Actual. F**k. Are. You. Doing. In. The. Labour. Party? and, genuinely, please tell me how you sleep at night & how you are not an actual psychopath to know all this and still support Starmer?

  1. I support Sir Keir Starmer. Whilst he’s not perfect, he’s so much better than Corbyn. Corbyn brought the Labour Party into disrepute. Under his leadership we went from 20 to 10 MEPs and in 2019 we had the worst general election result since 1935. Since Keir Starmer took over, he’s rid the party of its anti-semitism problem that stained Corbyn’s time as leader. He’s also provided constructive opposition, and not cheap party-political point scoring like we see from the Scottish Conservatives at Holyrood (I live in Scotland BTW). The last opinion poll conducted when Corbyn was leader had Labour 23 points behind the Tories. In November last year, we were neck and neck with the Conservative Party and even now after the huge success of the vaccination program, we’re polling on average only about 6 points behind the Conservatives. After 1 year of Corbyn’s leadership we were polling about 11 points behind the Conservatives.

Starmer has been far more successful in his first year than Corbyn (who faced a leadership challenge within 9 months because he campaigned so poorly for remain in the EU ref). Some will never like Starmer, but the public far prefer him to Corbyn.
