Today was a day that this facility was extremely lucky to get through.
We are thankful beyond words to our amazing fire crews who helped to save our ramps .
And to our Trustees and Staff for stepping in to help with buckets of water to help drench the ramps before the fire crews were available to step in at our side.
Special thanks to a man called Stuart Welstead, who is down here on holiday and alerted us of the fire immediately as we were closed; he stepped in and helped to get water on the ramps.
We are extremely lucky and blessed to get through this day.
Our thoughts are with our wonderful neighbours SEA LIFE Weymouth, we hope all the staff and beautiful sea creatures and animals are ok.
