The Weymouth BID has been hosting great visitor events since its launch in 2013.
This Easter the BID will be once again hosting a FREE Easter Holiday event, ‘Weymouth’s Jurassic Egg Hunt & Roarsome Dino Day!’

The Jurassic Egg Hunt will start on Friday 30th March and will run until Sunday 15th April, young explorers will be able to follow a trail of clues around Weymouth town to find ‘Jurassic Dino Eggs’ in local shops and businesses.  The aim is to solve the riddle to discover where a very rare ‘T-Rex Egg’ has been hidden. Entrants need to complete and return their trail form by Monday 16th April to be in with a chance of winning a bag full of Easter goodies!  Retailers and businesses will be taking part by displaying a dinosaur egg and clue amongst their products.

On the Saturday 31st March, Weymouth will host its ‘Roarsome Dino Day’, with an eggciting mix of dinosaur related fun activities that will keep young explorers busy all day. The FREE Fun will start at 11am and continue until 3.30pm with events such as A Dino Passport Quest, Dino Games with Wessex FM, Dino Mask Colouring, Dino Mask Parade, Dino dancing and a Dino Roar Competition.  The Wessex FM Roadshow will also be in town with music and games.

Claudia Moore Chief Operating Officer of the Weymouth BID said “I cannot wait to meet the dinosaurs face to face. It promises to be an exciting experience straight from Jurassic Park when T Rex Junior will thrill and, possibly, intrigue quite a few young explorers.  T-Rex Junior has been supplied by The Twins FX who are based in Wareham and who supply many special effects to the Weymouth Pavilion Pantos and shows.”   More info at www.thetwinsfx.com
