Friday 7th March saw the launch of The Carpet Company’s brand new showroom on Poundbury. The family run business decided to open its second showroom on Poundbury because of the number of customers coming to the Weymouth showroom from the Poundbury and surrounding area. After working closely with local developer C G Fry and Son they found the perfect premises in the prime positioned and architecturally appealing Pouncy Hall on Liscombe Street, Poundbury. The new 1,500 square foot showroom will feature the full range of Karndean flooring products and a design table where you can build your own flooring to see how things would look in your own home. As well as a large range of quality, unusual bespoke carpets that you will not find anywhere else in the area.

Matt Whitlock says “I am so excited to be opening our new showroom on Poundbury, this is a big step in the growth of our business. The Poundbury showroom will allow us to showcase the full range of the products we offer in a beautiful setting.”

Ludovic Blackburn Finance Director at C G Fry and Son said “It was an absolute pleasure working with Matt to find that special place for him to set up his brand new showroom. It’s great to see a young man with such drive,  determination and passion for his business.“
