The Weymouth BID has called an Extraordinary General Meeting on the 18th July 2013 when a new management board will be elected. The EGM will be held at the Green Room, Weymouth Pavilion at 6pm.
Letters have been sent to every business in the levy payment area inviting them to consider a place on the management board.

Every business in the Weymouth BID area now has the opportunity to have their say and contribute to making the Weymouth BID a success by standing as a Director of Weymouth BID Management Board.
Board Directors will help support the BID to deliver the business plan, monitor its progress and performance and to help make strategic decisions to achieve aims and ambitions.
Mr Huett went on to advise that “This role should not be taken lightly as whilst it is a voluntary position those on the board will be expected to actively participate and be able to bring skills and experience that help the BID with the support of its operational team to achieve its goals.”
The BID Constitution details the Boards composition. The Board will consist of 17 members who when elected, will become Directors of Weymouth BID Ltd. Elections will be held annually for all positions on the Board at the Weymouth BID AGM. The positions on the board have been spread across all the sectors that levy payers represent to ensure a fair mix on the boards make up.
