Weymouth College accredited ‘Investors in Diversity’ Standard at Level 1

Weymouth College, led by staff member Hilary Yuille began its ‘Investors in Diversity’ journey in September 2012 with students, internal and external stakeholders taking part in an equality and diversity survey.

Principal of the College, Liz Myles said: “The journey and achievement of the standard gives a positive message about the College’s commitment to diversity and each person should be congratulated for their input and success of the College.”

The College received their accreditation on 1stFebruary 2013 and this lasts for one year.

Awarded by the National Centre for Diversity, Solat Chaudhry said: “Weymouth College has much that is doing well. Based on the results from the surveys we are delighted to award them the Stage 1 Investors in Diversity stand and congratulate the College for this achievement.
