Weymouth Man Missing Since 2023. Does Anyone Know His Whereabouts?

Officers searching for a missing man from Weymouth are appealing for information from the public to help locate him.

Robert Logan, aged 76, was reported missing on Tuesday, 7 January 2025, having not been in contact with his family for a number of months.

He is described as around five feet eight inches tall and of medium build with a shaved head, white stubble, blue eyes and a mole on his face. Robert, also known as Bob, speaks with a north-east England accent.

He was believed to be camping in coastal areas around Weymouth in 2023 and also has links to Bridport, Cornwall, and Luton in Bedfordshire.

Detective Inspector Rhys Griffiths, of Dorset Police, said: “While we have no information to indicate Robert has come to any harm, he has not been heard from for a significant period of time now, and we are keen to locate him and make sure that he is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Robert’s whereabouts to please make contact with us.

“Finally, I would also like to make a direct plea to Robert to get in touch with us or your family and let us know where you are. We all just want to check that you are OK.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Robert’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250002868.
