Let the people speak.

People standing together.

Lament.

Dignity.

Silence.

Nobody using this tragedy to spread hate.

No cheap political points.

No one reacting to my children being bombed by saying we should bomb other children off the face of the earth.

On top of feeling heartbroken and empty some of the things I’ve read on FB have made me feel utterly sick.

Have some respect, dignity and humanity for the sake of those who have died and their families.

If you don’t know what’s respectful, don’t say anything…..

Ray

How about thinking of the people that have lost lives and the parents who went to pick their children up only to find out they had been blown up .. right now I’m thinking about them .. not the others that may be targeted

Donna

Imagine losing a child like some of those people have done tonight. I can barely stand to think about it

If I lost Fae or Evie it would absolutely finish me off for good.

What a world, eh? Where kids just can’t be kids.

Bomb in a Bangkok hospital tonight, too. A hospital, FFS!

Beyond heartbreaking. And sickening.

Harry

Loss of a child whatever their age because they are your child forever never ever goes away. And anyone who tells you time heals had no idea. It’s a hell I would wish on no one not anyone. My heart bleeds for all parents who lose their child.

Deborah

Mixed emotions today, agonizing sadness, but enormous pride in our police, emergency services, NHS teams & all in Manchester who came forward to help.

Behind the terrible statistics lie human-beings with hopes, fears and loved ones. Behind official figures lie voices, faces, and ambitions. Behind the stark facts are wives and husbands, partners, parents and little children.

After the dust settles on any atrocity lie months and years of coming to terms with loss, years of sorrow and frustration, years of unfulfilled hopes. Every statistic contains within it so much more.

Thoughts with all coming to terms with loss and those with life altering injuries. Thoughts also with anyone who witnessed such a shocking event, who will bear the emotional scars for the rest of their lives.

Lastly, thanks to everyone who helped, including the Cabbies giving free rides, hotels offering free accommodation and others opening their homes. It’s good to note that the spirit of human kindness will always prevail.

Clive

… horrendous.. poor parents poor children… total panic would set in … what would you do pick your small child up who’s probably too heavy to carry or drag them along faster than their little legs can take them in fear they could potentially get stamped on from other scared children adults teenagers… couldn’t imagine
