SAT 5            LORTON MEADOWS OPEN DAY (Free), 10am – 4pm. The Wildlife Centre is open for visitors, come along for a walk around the Dorset Wildlife Trust reserve, then drop in for a hot drink, and peruse our selection of gifts and wildlife books. Plus watch the birds on the feeders on screen, find out what to feed your garden birds during the colder months and purchase bird seed, feeders and nest boxes. Ring 01305 816546 for more information.

 

SUN 6           EAST DORSET WORK PARTY: Lend a hand with practical conservation work at Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Sopley Common Reserve. Tasks include scrub clearance, pine and sycamore control, path clearance etc. Meet at the Ramsdown car park.
