Witness appeal following burglary in Sherborne

Officers investigating a burglary in Sherborne are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Between 10.30am and 3.45pm on Saturday 8 February 2020 a burglary occurred at an address in Ridgeway. The victims returned home and discovered that a number of rooms in their property had been searched.

It is believed the offenders forced entry through a window.

Some items of jewellery and two bank cards were stolen.

Police Constable Caroline Orchard, of Sherborne police, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this burglary and making a number of enquiries to identify those responsible.

“I am really keen to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on Saturday 8 February.

“I would also urge any local residents to check their home CCTV systems for any relevant footage.”
