Witness appeal following criminal damage near Dorchester

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after a criminal damage incident near Dorchester.

At 9.40pm on Friday 25 February 2022 the victim returned to find that damage had been caused to the front door of a property in the area of the A352 near to St Martin’s Church in Broadmayne.

It is believed the damage was caused some time between 8.40pm and 9.40pm.

Police Constable Dave Ash, of West Dorset police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident during the evening of Friday 25 February 2022 to please contact Dorset Police.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured any suspicious activity in the area on either home CCTV systems or dashcam footage.”
