Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a report of a fail-to-stop collision in Poole.

At around 2.35pm on Friday 22 November 2024 a collision involving four vehicles occurred on Alder Road. It was reported that the collision involved a grey Range Rover, which was travelling from Sharp Road onto Alder Road and failed to stop at the scene.

Police Constable Mark Matthews, of Poole police, said: “Fortunately nobody was injured as a result of this collision, however we are carrying out enquiries and are keen to establish the identity of the driver of the Range Rover involved.

“I would urge any witnesses to the incident, or anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam footage, to please make contact with us if you have not already spoken to police.

“I would also encourage any businesses or residents with CCTV systems in the area of Sharp Road and Alder Road to please review their footage from around the time of the collision to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240179976. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
