Woman in hospital following collision in Poole

Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

At 12.49pm on Friday 4 September 2020 it was reported that a collision occurred involving a black Mercedes C220 and a pedestrian on Kingland Road near to the Lighthouse.

The pedestrian – a local woman aged in her 80s – sustained an injury to her head and foot and was taken to hospital for treatment by the ambulance service.

Police Constable Hannah Gryba, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision and has not already spoken to police to please get in touch.

“I would also urge any motorists who were travelling along Kingland Road at the relevant time and have dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check it for any relevant footage.”
