Woman in serious condition following collision near Bournemouth airport

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward as they investigate a serious injury road traffic collision in Hurn.

Shortly before 10pm on Saturday 22 July 2023 a collision occurred on Parley Lane, near to Bournemouth Airport, involving a dark blue Ford Fiesta and a blue Dodge Caliber.

Emergency services attended the scene and the driver of the Dodge Caliber, a woman aged in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.

Police Constable Kier Dagnall, of the traffic unit, said: “We are carrying out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would like to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the vicinity around the time of the collision to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
