Woman sought following assault in Gillingham

Officers investigating an assault at a food store in Gillingham are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

At around 5.25pm on Wednesday 21 December 2022 a women was acting suspiciously in Iceland in Station Road and was approached by a staff member.

It is reported that the woman grabbed the victim by the arm and attempted to drag her up an aisle. As she left the store, she made threats toward the staff member.

Police Community Support Investigator Kayleigh Hole, of Dorset Police, said: “I have been continuing to carry out enquiries into this incident, which was distressing for the victim.

“I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of the suspect and would ask anyone with information about her identity to please come forward.”
