Mack Trading, who lease and operate the golf course at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest, has ceased trading with immediate effect and as a result the golf course at Moors Valley Country Park is now closed.

The company has appointed receivers to deal with outstanding debt and the golf course is currently closed.

Matti Raudsepp, Strategic Director, Christchurch and East Dorset Councils, said: “The council was made aware of the closure of Mack Trading at 10pm on 2 October.

“We are waiting to hear from the receivers that have been appointed to act on their behalf and currently the golf course is closed.

“We are working to ensure that members of the golf club are made aware that the course is not open.

“It is obviously disappointing to hear this news and we will now consider options for the future running of the golf course.”

Anyone with queries regarding outstanding debt should contact the Insolvency Practitioner at Butcher Woods Ltd, 79 Caroline Street, Birmingham B3 1UP.
