Officers searching for a teenager who went missing from Poole are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Cameron Bhatt, aged 15, was reported missing at around 12.45am on Wednesday 23 May 2018 after leaving his address in Mossley Avenue.

Police have been carrying out a range of searches to located him and are appealing for assistance from the public as their extensive enquiries continue.

Cameron is described as white and around five feet 11 inches tall with dark hair. It is believed he was wearing a grey sweatshirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and Nike Air trainers.

Officers believe Cameron may be in the company of others who either are not aware he is missing or could be deliberately harbouring him.

Detective Inspector Andy Bell, of Dorset Police, said: “Cameron’s welfare is our main priority and we are continuing to make efforts to locate him. We understand he may not have access to medication he is currently required to take so we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I would urge anyone who knows where he is to contact Dorset Police immediately as we need to ensure he is safe and well and is reunited with those who have legal guardianship.

“Anyone who intentionally keeps Cameron from the authorities could be committing an offence, which will be robustly investigated by police.

“It may be that these people think they are doing the right thing by looking after Cameron, but we need to get in touch with him to make sure he is safe and well.

“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Cameron if he sees this appeal to please make contact with us as we just want to know you are safe.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Cameron’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55180078011.
