Officers investigating a suspected arson at a children’s nursery and pre-school in Poole have arrested a local 11-year-old boy.
At 9.55pm on Sunday 14 April 2019 the fire service was called to reports of flames coming from the playground area at Sunbeams & Buddies Day Care on Library Road.
It is reported access had been gained to the site and play equipment had been set alight. The fire spread to the side of the building, causing significant damage.
An 11-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
