On Wednesday 20th May 2020 at approximately 1500hrs, officers from Weymouth Response and the County Lines Management Team detained a male for a search in the area of Lorton Meadows, Weymouth for a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

The male was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs after cash and suspected controlled drugs were located.

A 24 year-old male from London remains in police custody whilst our enquiries continue.
