3Zone Fun Day 2013

Plans for the third 3Zone Fantastic Family Fun Day on Saturday 17th August 2013 are well under way, with the event promising to be bigger and better than the last two. The Fun Day is being held at the Top Club Field on Louviers Road, Littlemoor, and runs from 12 noon until 4pm. Entry is free and there will be lots of free entertainment for all the family. The bucking bronco is back again by popular demand as are the bungee run, obstacle course,  bouncy castle, miniature steam train, trampolines, mini waltzers and roundabout. Have fun cooking with Cookery Tony and enjoy watching the magic shows or having your face painted.

Air 107.2 FM will be with us to keep us up to date with everything that’s going on so there’s no need to miss anything. Our local community choir “Moor Voices” will be singing during the afternoon and there will be a display by the 2nd Edition Portland Majorettes. Refreshments will also be on sale to keep your energy levels up.

New for this year we have Simon Chainey with a brilliant fire act as well as an emergency services mini 999 day.

We are also introducing a photography competition with classes for adults and children. The overall adult winner will take home £50 kindly donated by www.love-weymouth.co.uk . There will be runner-up prizes and Britannia Parking is kindly donated the prizes for the children’s competition.

Again this year, we are running Market Street, a table-top market, and pitches are available for £5, but places are limited so you need to book now. Any charities are welcome to have a stall free of charge but will still need to book.

For details of the photography competition or to book a table, please call Jan Hinton on 01305 834126.

The Fun Day has been organised by 3Zone Neighbourhood Panel, supported by Synergy Housing, part of the Aster Group.
