Renewed appeal for missing Joe from Weymouth

Officers are renewing their appeal for information from the public and issuing new images as efforts to locate missing Joe Clements from Weymouth continue.

Joe, aged 25, was reported missing having last been seen by family at around 11am on Tuesday 20 June 2023. Joe is believed to have been in the Chesil Beach area on Portland some time during that night and has not been seen or heard from since.

Joe is described as five feet nine inches tall and of slim build with brown hair.

Chief Inspector Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “It has been a week since Joe was last seen and we are continuing to do all we can to locate them. Officers are also keeping Joe’s family updated with any developments.

“I am making a renewed appeal for information from anyone who may have seen Joe, or someone matching the description given, in the area of Chesil Beach on the night of Tuesday 20 June into the early hours of Wednesday 21 June 2023. Joe was believed to have travelled to Portland in a grey Kia Sportage.

“We are also issuing new images of Joe in the hope that it might assist anyone who may have seen them in the area.”
