Witnesses Sought Following Serious Collision In Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury collision in Poole.

Dorset Police received a report at 6.50am on Friday 1 November 2024 of a collision involving a silver Vauxhall Ampera Electron and a pedestrian in Lindsay Road.

The pedestrian – a local man aged in his 60s – was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The driver was not injured.

Police Sergeant Mark Burton, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is underway to establish what happened and I am keen to speak to any witnesses.

“Also, if you were travelling in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage, please contact Dorset Police.

“I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding while the road closure was in place during a busy time of the morning.”
