A group of South African lawyers are taking on the might of the imperialist USA for being complicit in international crimes carried out by Israel against the people of Palestine. Before we provide the details of their ‘Notice of Intention…’ let us remind ourselves of the US involvement in the terrorist state of Israel.

The United States has historically provided significant support for Zionism, which is a political movement that advocates for the establishment and preservation of a Jewish state in the historic land of Israel. This support has deep roots and can be attributed to various factors, including historical, religious, geopolitical, and cultural considerations.

The following are some key points detailing the support for Zionism by the USA:

  1. Historical and Religious Ties:
    • The idea of a Jewish homeland in Palestine has roots in both Jewish and Christian religious beliefs.
    • Many early European settlers in the American colonies saw parallels between their own quest for religious freedom and the Zionist movement’s aspirations for a Jewish homeland.
  2. Balfour Declaration (1917):
    • During World War I, the British government issued the Balfour Declaration, expressing support for the establishment of a “national home for the Jewish people” in Palestine.
    • The United States, while not directly involved in drafting the declaration, supported its objectives and ideals.
  3. Post-World War II Period:
    • In the aftermath of the Holocaust and World War II, there was increased sympathy and support for the establishment of a Jewish state.
    • The United States played a pivotal role in the recognition of the State of Israel, which was declared in 1948.
  4. Strategic Interests:
    • The United States has viewed Israel as a strategic ally in the Middle East, with shared democratic values and a stable political system.
    • Israel has been seen as a reliable partner in a region that has often been politically unstable.
  5. Cold War Dynamics:
    • During the Cold War, the United States saw Israel as a counterbalance to Soviet influence in the Middle East.
    • Israel received military and economic aid from the U.S. as a means of maintaining stability in the region.
  6. Domestic Support:
    • The American Jewish community has historically been supportive of Zionism, and this support has influenced U.S. policy.
    • Politicians often consider the views of their constituents, and support for Israel has been a bipartisan issue in American politics.
  7. Economic and Technological Cooperation:
    • Over the years, the U.S. and Israel have developed strong economic and technological ties, with collaboration in various fields, including defense, agriculture, and technology.
  8. Peace Process and Diplomacy:
    • While supporting Israel, the U.S. has also been involved in diplomatic efforts to find a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, endorsing a two-state solution.

Why is this perceived as an issue? Let the attorneys at Wikus Van Rensburg explain.

Let us hope that their pursuit of the USA for aiding terrorism and apartheid is successful. However, don’t hold your breath.

Remember, EVIL has many friends….
