DJ PROPERTY has announced that the first business to occupy one of the brand new units at Link Park in Weymouth is one of the UK’s largest trade suppliers, Screwfix.
Mickey Jones, the Chief Executive of DJ Property, the company developing Weymouth’s newest business park, said he was delighted to welcome the UK’s largest multi channel of trade tools, plumbing, electrical, bathrooms and kitchens.

Screwfix have taken the first of six units in Phase One at Link Park and DJ Property will be able to confirm more tenants in the near future. Phase One is expected to be finished by late November 2012 and consists ofsix modern business units, each of approximately 4,120 square feet. These modern high eaves buildings will be finished with high quality brickwork, cladding and glazed elevations. Each unit has been designated for B1 and B8 (trade counter) uses.
Link Park’s direct frontage onto the Chickerell Link Road and proximity to Weymouth’s major roads makes it the ideal location for many businesses. Buildings at Link Park will be of the highest quality available in South Dorset and all units benefit from reduced cost solar PV generated electricity. Phase Two is currently scheduled for 2013, but the exact format and timing has yet to be finalised.
Ian Doyle, the Economic Regeneration Manager for Weymouth and Portland and West Dorset Councils, welcomed the news.
