A brand new leaflet aimed at visitors to Weymouth and Portland has been produced by the borough council.

The leaflet provides a colourful introduction to Weymouth and Portland with stunning photography, a selection of events and a map of the area and its attractions.  There have been 70,000 copies produced of the full colour leaflet in time for Easter and will be distributed throughout Weymouth and Portland.

Copies are available from the Weymouth Pavilion and other Tourist Information Points together with the Portland Heights Visitor Centre.

Along with Weymouth’s award winning beach, the leaflet also provides more information about what else the area has to offer, such as nature and cycle trails and public art to discover.

Weymouth & Portland Borough Council’s Tourism and Events Manager Matt Ryan, said: “Weymouth is the ideal location for a family break with its safe sandy beach, pretty harbour and family attractions and together with Portland’s rugged scenery and amazing wildlife, they make for the perfect holiday destination.

“This leaflet aims to encourage visitors to stay longer and explore more of this fantastic part of Dorset.”
