Appeal for Parade Entrants
As part of this years’ Winton Carnival street parade, The Green Party are inviting any green groups, businesses or families to come together with them, in a show of strength and unity in a ‘Green Parade.’
It is not about one particular group or viewpoint, it is about all of us as a collective force for good.
Winton Carnival is a fun, busy and community led event and a great opportunity to reach a lot of people in a short space of time, it would be wonderful to have as many families and groups as possible to come out in show of their support of our planet and to celebrate all things green!
The idea is that we all wear something green (or any other costumes), hand out leaflets (or anything else relevant) for our causes/businesses and bring our smiles and good cheer for this walking parade.
You will be required to assemble atCalvin Road, Winton for registrationat 10amwith the parade beginning at 10:45 am, the route takes just over an hour to complete.
It is very important that you let us know you are coming as we need to be aware of numbers on the day.
You will be asked to make a small financial contribution on the day to make the cost of parade entry more manageable for us all.
