Officers investigating a fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident occurred at around 5.30pm on Thursday 27 June 2019 outside of the bus depot on Commercial Road in Weymouth. A female pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car, described as being possibly grey in colour, which failed to stop at the scene.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was treated by the ambulance service for a head injury but did not require hospital treatment.

Police Constable Dan Campbell-Bell, of Weymouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am appealing to any witnesses to contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the relevant time and has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to check their footage for anything relevant.”
