Tributes have been pouring in for well loved local musician and artist, Pete Clark. Pete sadly died unexpectedly in October of a suspected heart condition- leaving a legacy of happy memories and creative work.

Universally, anyone that met or had the pleasure to know him say the same..that he was one of life’s ‘good guys’ without a negative or bad word to say, who saw positivity and light in every situation and faced the world head on with a smile.

His laugh was infectious and he was an incredibly kind and caring person who enriched the lives of those around him..everyone has a funny memory or story about Pete and he did his best to lift people up and made the world a nicer, sunnier place.

An example of Pete’s unique artwork can be seen in local Swanage clothing store Surfari

A keen musician, talented singer and guitarist and gifted artist, his friends and family believe that he would be proud for his creativity to live on and inspire others, so please feel free to download or share his music from the links below to his youtube channel.

His family will also be making a collection of his art work accessible in the near future. Plans are afoot for a plaque memorial in Pete’s honour on Swanage pier- the seaside town in which he grew up.

Latterly he had been living in Westbourne and had many friends both sides of the water who will miss him terribly.

Many have posted their special memories of him on his public Facebook page.

Finally a family favourite pic of Pete, on a family holiday, in St Barts playing guitar on the beach.

Pete died at the age of 45.

Fly high, Dude. R.I.P.
