Kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus is set to open its first ever store in the Westbourne area of Bournemouth this month.

The store at 65 Seamoor Road in Westbourne will officially open its doors on the 5th of July and there will be a special opening event which will be by invite only for existing and potential new customers with snacks and drink on offer on 22nd July between 5pm until 8pm. There will also be a cooking demonstration on the new and exciting Bora downdraught hob.

The store will primarily serve customers across Bournemouth and Poole but will be installing kitchens everywhere including London and down to the South Coast.

Face-to-face consultations are available with social distancing requirements in place. As well as this, virtual appointments and Kutchenhaus’ new online 3D planning and design tool are available to create kitchens remotely for local customers if they are unable to come to store.

The shop is co-owned by Owen Jefferis and Sean Carr, with Sean and Owen both bringing extensive experience in a variety of kitchen and home improvement retailers to the business as well as previously having been in charge of businesses at competitor brands.

Boasting 2,000 square foot of retail space, the Bournemouth showroom has nine kitchen displays along with a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom and lounge area. It also has a fully working kitchen with Dekton Sintered stone and Miele appliances and a range of the best manufacturers including Neff, Bosch, Siemens, Smeg and AEG.

The team hope to employ another three members of staff in customer services and kitchen design as well as a manager in due course once the store is settled.

Kutchenhaus (www.kutchenhaus.co.uk) is owned by Nobilia, Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, providing stylish, German-designed ranges at the lowest possible price, without compromising on quality. Customers in Bournemouth have the added peace of mind that kitchens they order now will be delivered on time, with minimal disruption currently being experienced to the firm’s supply chain and manufacturing process in Germany.

Sean Carr, business owner of Kutchenhaus in Bournemouth, commented on the opening: “We are incredibly excited to be opening our brand-new store in Bournemouth and can’t wait to welcome the local community to the official launch where they can view our stylish contemporary displays.

“Westbourne is a vibrant area which we both know well from previous roles around the Bournemouth area. I also owned a business in the town which proved to be very positive, and with no other German kitchen businesses in the immediate vicinity, it seems like an ideal fit.

“We started work in February, and it has taken four months to completely transform the space to Kutchenhaus’ high-quality standards. Although amidst a pandemic, we are proud of the progress we have made and are excited to welcome customers through our doors.”

Sean Ford, national head of sales and operations for Kutchenhaus, said: “Kutchenhaus is on an ambitious growth path over the next 2-3 years, however being in the grip of a global pandemic has certainly presented some challenges and even positively altered the way we do business in some cases. It is therefore extremely satisfying that Owen and Sean are now in a position to be able to open a new store in Bournemouth and offer local customers the opportunity to plan and design their dream kitchen.

“The new showroom will no doubt offer an engaging environment and deliver a high-quality product, a market opportunity which we know is currently in high demand.  We wish the team all the best and wait to see their future success.”
