Officers investigating a racially aggravated public order incident in Bournemouth are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as they are trying to identify a man – with CCTV images being released.
The incident happened at around 12.40pm on Wednesday 20 October 2021 in the Lewis-Manning Hospice Care store in Seamoor Road in the Westbourne area of the town.
It was reported that a customer had blocked some internal stairs by putting an electric scooter in front of the entrance. When he was asked by a staff member to move it, he became racially abusive and made threats.
Police Constable Christopher Hartley, of Bournemouth police, said: “Understandably, this incident has greatly upset the victim.
“Following initial enquiries, I am now in a position to release CCTV images of a man I would like to identify.
“I would urge anyone who might have information as to his identity to please contact us.”
