A man has been charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault of a child in Poole.
It was reported that at around 7.20pm on Thursday 9 June 2022 a seven-year-old girl was approached by a man at Branksome Recreation Ground and he touched her inappropriately over her clothing.
Officers attended and a 38-year-old Poole man was arrested.
Following enquiries, he has now been charged with assaulting a girl under the age of 13 by touching and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13 January 2023.
