A fun-filled schedule of festive events is planned for this year’s Poole Christmas Extravaganza which will take place throughout Poole town centre and Poole Quay over four days, starting on Thursday, November 30 until Sunday, December 3.

In partnership with Poole BID, the Christmas Extravaganza will see a jam-packed calendar of entertainment; including several viewings of the Water Fountain Laser Projection Show coming to Poole for the first time this year, fireworks, three stages of live music, a winter bar and a Christmas tree light switch on at both Poole Quay and Falkland Square.

The Extravaganza’s schedule is bursting with entertainment and activities sure to get you in the Christmas spirit including a visit from the man himself, Santa Claus, who will arrive on a City Cruises’ boat to Poole Quay at 11.00am on Sunday, December 3. Santa will parade through Poole on his Christmas train, joined by The Mayor of Poole Councillor Lindsay Wilson and the stars of the Lighthouse’s panto performance of Cinderella. Santa’s procession will start at Poole Quay, moving towards Old Orchard and then through the High Street to Falkland Square.

On Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3 a Christmas market on Poole Quay will showcase traditional Christmas trade stands with exclusive gift items available to purchase.
