I want to tell you about a great opportunity coming-up at Thomas Hardye School Theatre in Dorchester. On the evening of Friday 17th November up to 150 film goers with an interest in sustainability will gather to watch the new feature length documentary A Plastic Ocean with special guests. It’s more than just a movie as after the film there will be a discussion / Q&A about issues raised by the film.

The foyer area will have a selection of sponsor stalls, local businesses and green campaigns showcasing their work. The cafe/ bar area has a selection of cinema snacks & alcoholic beverages. There’s plenty of time, one hour, before and after the film to socialise and network with like-minded people from across the region.

If you are a membership organisation this is a great chance to reward your members with a discounted ticket and exclusive invite. It’s also an opportunity to recruit more members who are going to be fired-up by the atmosphere and inspired by the film. You can even showcase your knowledge and expertise in the auditorium by taking part in the Q&A session after the film.

There are various ways to take-part and we welcome applications from any organisation in the area. If successful you will receive two free tickets plus an online discount for your followers/ members. The deadline for applications is Fri 13th October. Please visit www.creativedynamo.net/tickets for further information and links to an online application form.

This event is a follow-up to a similar event that took place in Wimborne in May which you can read about here https://www.sustainabledorset.org/wave-change-dorset/ .Many thanks for your time in reading this message and we forward to hearing from you and meeting you at the screening.
