Parents are in outrage at the decision to join  the local IPACA Academy to the multi national academy , this goes against the advice of the NUT (National union of teachers) who maintain that there will be no local decisions or local involvement through traditional governorship if the schools joins the national trust.

Quite why the IPACA has chosen to make the move is unclear and vague reasons such as financial hardship being brought about from delays in getting planning permission for the building has been mentioned. Also reasons such as “we have not been able to improve as much as we would have liked”. Now in despair the Parents suspect that the IPACA simply wants an easier life to become part of a chain store so the school can run like a brand.

If your child has problems in the school, parents will then have to take issues up to “head office” and take on a multi national trust.  Local schools for local people are fast becoming a thing of the past with new academies teaching the new age of digital learning, and chill out sessions in the classroom.

Could this move really be the “death of education” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPgjV_EwCnQ
