Detectives investigating a report of a fight at a pub in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

It is reported that at around 12.05am on Saturday 29 January 2022 a fight occurred between a group of people at the Lord Wimborne pub in Lagland Street.

The group then left the pub and it is alleged that a further fight occurred a short time afterwards outside Sainsbury’s and Caffè Nero in the High Street.

Two people – a man aged in his 20s and a teenage boy – sustained injuries and attended hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

Two teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Jordan Hopkins, of Bournemouth CID, said: “An investigation is underway and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened to please come forward.”
