Lewis Hamilton’s F1 2013 race car and the AMG C 63 DTM car, which had not been seen in Britain before, were top attractions for children and adults at Bournemouth’s Wheels festival this weekend. The cars were shipped from Germany just for the Wheels Festival thanks to Martin White, Dealer Principal for Mercedes-Benz of Poole. A massive supporter of motorsport, White moved down here from East Anglia 12 months ago to look after and develop Mercedes Benz Poole. “It was a real coup, specially to have these 2 cars in one place at the same time you can’t normally get that” he said.
Organisers said the cars added to the buzz of the festival. Wheels Festival Director, Jon Weaver said: “We’re doing everything we can to make sure that people have a world-class experience at Wheels 2015 and these exciting additions to an already jam-packed programme will make for a weekend to remember.”
