I just imagined a comical conversation between JC and one of the party faithful.
MP: What if the people staging the coup are right?
JC: Trust me, they are right……. Far too far to the right
MP: But there’s no one left
JC: That has been the problem since day 1. I tried to be reasonable, even knowing that they were right but there was no one left.
MP: Now I’m confused!
JC: Don’t worry, John McDonald and I are left and I’ve selected a new cabinet from those who are Left or centre left!!!!!! Now we can get things right!
