Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a street robbery in Poole.

The incident happened at around 1.15am on Thursday 22 November 2018 on Poole Bridge on West Quay Road.

The victim – a man aged in his 20s – was approached from behind by three men. He was knocked to the ground and punched and kicked repeatedly before the offenders took the victim’s mobile phone and keys.

The victim attended hospital for treatment to minor head injuries.

Detective Constable Rebecca Joyce, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please come forward.

“I would particularly like to speak with anyone who saw three men acting suspiciously around the area at the time.”
