Arena Theatre with regional first: ‘Jerusalem’ by Jez Butterworth

From the same company which brought you the regional first of ‘Calendar Girls’ come the Tony and Olivier award winning play by Jez Butterworth

On St. George’s Day, the morning of the local county fair, Johnny “Rooster” Byron, local waster and modern day Pied Piper, is a wanted man. The council officials want to serve him an eviction notice, his son, Marky wants his dad to take him to the fair, Troy Whitworth wants to give him a serious kicking and a motley crew of mates want his ample supply of drugs and alcohol. This play is a modern classic and Arena Theatre is the first local company to perform it. Frequent use of strong language is used throughout the play. Suitable for ages 16 and over

Jerusalem will be at the Regent Centre in Chistchurch from Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 November starting at 7-15pm
