Arresting a black person the England & Wales way

The irony is that if we are a victim of a crime or being persecuted we are told to contact the police.

Whatever the circumstances this is a far too common experience for non white people at the hands of men and women in blue.

As reported and concluded far too regularly Police use force disproportionately against black people in England and Wales, figures suggest

and until a government seeks to treat this issue seriously… well we know the rest.

‘Whatever the circumstances of the arrest, this type of arrest reinforces the views of black communities that the police, when police deal with black people, they turn intro the bully boys in blue. That’s the predominant community perception born of lived experience right now.’
