Weymouth Town Council are pleased to announce that rare opportunities to manage seasonal seafront businesses in prime locations on Weymouth’s award-winning beach are now available. These opportunities include:
Trading has been a feature of the seafront since the early 19th century.
The sites being tendered will trade alongside other established attractions located on the promenade and on the beach as well as a range of other catering and retail concessions. Tenders from modern and traditional attractions are being encouraged.
The catering and retail opportunities are being offered on a ten-year lease; whilst the attraction site is being offered on a one-year lease.
Due to Weymouth Town Council recently declaring a climate change and ecological emergency, sustainability is a key driver for the Council and applicants will be encouraged to demonstrate sustainable solutions within their proposals.
