Haven Holidays have announced that a significant chunk of their 2013 improvement budget is to be spent in Dorset.

The company currently operate 35 parks across the UK, but have singled out Rockley Park near Poole as being in need of some major improvements. While Haven have not yet confirmed precisely how much of the earmarked £40m will be spent at Rockley Park, it is understood that the holiday park’s facilities are inline for a major overhaul.

In a press release from the company, Haven explained their plans for the coming year;

“Every year we work hard to improve the guest experience and invest over £40 million on new leisure facilities, new restaurants and new accommodation and 2013 is no different,” the press release read.

The work is expected to begin sooner rather than later, ensuring that all improvements at Rockley Park are completed in time for the busy 2013 summer season. Haven say that they expect to be fully ready for the coming season by March 18th, ensuring that the new facilities at Rockley Park are in place before holidaymakers arrive for their Easter getaways.
