Get exclusive offers and signed copies. If you’re thinking of writing your first book, come along and find out how we did it. Free entry, no need to book, pop in, browse and support this fantastic cause. If you’re an author with a book to sale why not book a stand, it only costs £10 but hurry because spaces are limited.

Local author Christopher Legg who has just completed his first novel ‘In Fields of Gold and Red’ from Bridport Book Fest said: ‘We hope that everyone in Bridport will join us to help raise as many funds as possible for CHSW. The Bookshop are sponsoring us by giving a percentage of their takings to CHSW on the day.

‘We wanted to raise funds for CHSW because of its work with life-limited children and their families and we hope the event will be a great success. It’s a charity close to my heart as my best friend’s son was born with a severe condition. I love to cycle and read and write novels so I thought why not organise this fund raiser that can benefit the hospice and give exposure to aspiring writers.’

It costs over £8million to run CHSW’s three hospices in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. For more information on Bridport Book Fest please contact Chris on [email protected] or visit www.bridportbookfest.com
