Dazz Rose, better known on the track as Dazz Suzuki, is a British motorcyclist who competes in UK high speed wheelie competitions at the highest level, securing his fourth successive ACU Straightliners wheelie class championship at Santa Pod’s Extreme Performance Bike Weekend in October.

Wheelie competitions are where riders are awarded for securing the fastest wheelie over a measured distance usually either a 1/4 mile or a kilometre. These events have a larger following in the UK than they do Stateside, with the annual Elvington Max out Speed and World Wheelie Record Weekend held in York drawing in huge crowds each year.

After seeking a change from a successful career as a stunt rider Dazz set himself a new challenge; not only to compete in the highly coveted Fastest Wheelie contests, but to do so with a self-built bike. Dazz revealed in an interview with superstreetbike.com in 2012 that, “after competing on a relatively stock bike for a couple of years… it was time to build a turbo bike!” He got to work constructing a purpose built 2002 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 motorbike specifically designed and tuned to produce and handle high speeds on the rear wheel, which is where Turbo Dynamics, the turbocharger specialists based in Christchurch, come in.

Dazz, who was featured in Henry Cole’s ‘The Motorbike Show’ on ITV4, recently turned to Turbo Dynamics to upgrade his Suzuki’s existing turbocharger to our Hybrid Turbo TD04 specification.

We cannot wait to see Dazz next in action as he has already said that the bike is feeling great on the road. With even more power underneath him who knows what records he will smash. The latest Dyno Graph using Turbo Dynamics’ Hybrid TD04 recorded a seriously impressive 286.32 BHP @ 11,400 RPM with 14.Psi Boost, with more power sure to come as the bike is under constant development.
