Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a school in Shaftesbury. 

At approximately 3am on Tuesday 7 September 2021 entry was gained to Shaftesbury C of E Primary School on Wincombe Lane.

Damage was caused to the entrance door, as well as in internal door and a glazed screen. 

Enquiries are ongoing to establish whether anything was stolen.

Police Constable Stephen Pratt, of North Dorset police, said: “I am carrying out a full investigation to identify who was responsible for this incident.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area in the early hours of Tuesday 7 September to please come forward.

“I would also like to speak to any motorists who were passing in the vicinity and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
