A local dispute mediation company has produced a series of three videos advising businesses and individuals on how to solve disputes without needing to go to court. Veritas Resolution, based in Dorset and Devon, wanted to do something to help businesses after research showed an expected increase in staffing disputes as people return to work. The first video focuses on ten key mediation factors to consider.

These range from how to run a mediation session to all parties wanting to find a solution. The second focuses on the time needed, how to hold the session, the structure and the venue. Should it be face to face or can it be online? The third video looks at writing the mediation agreement ensuring both parties understand what has been agreed.

Said Brendan Salter, the owner of Veritas Resolution, “I’m concerned that people will return to work to find their roles may have changed. There may be a feeling of uncertainty which will manifest itself in a number of ways. All of this can lead to insecurity and disputes. I wanted to do something to help during these strange times.”

The first video is now available with the second and third being released this month.
