The Fisherman’s Daughter (a new play with original song for 7-11 year olds and their families) by Peter John Cooper for AsOne Theatre
- A professional (pref. trained), female actor
- Petite 5”3 or less (playing age appropriate to 10/12 year old)
- Good soprano singing voice
- Play an instrument i.e. guitar, ukulele etc. (or other instrument whilst singing)
- Good Dorset accent
- SM experience welcomed
- First job or experienced applicants welcomed
- Prefer Dorset based actors – however happy to see others as finding ‘ the best for the role’ is very important
- Available for a week’s development of a new script mid Feb Mon 15 -19
- Rehearsals from March 1 for 9 days during that time TBC
- Two performances (11.30 am and 2.30 pm) Sun. 13 March Weymouth Leviathan Maritime Literary Festival
- Two Dorset Primary School performances 16 & 23 March
- Easter school holiday tour of six Dorset libraries: Dorchester, Weymouth, Bridport, Gillingham, Verwood, Blandford
- Rehearsal fee of £50 a day, and a fee £70 per performance day. All travel is with the company van
