To hear the Canada goose flying over our heads at this time of year fills me full of joy. Their sound, flight formations, their very existence.
Then I see this. Some **** decides to do this and take away its majesty.
‘A sad day today I was called this morning by a lady from littlemoor in Weymouth to say that at around 9 am this morning after hearing some Canada Goose flying over she heard a loud bang ! She took her dog out shortly after and just outside the Littlemoor Surgery there was a dead Canada Goose. I went out to the the location and yes a adult Canada goose was led unfortunately dead by the side of the surgery still warm . With blood coming from its mouth and I have now examined it and confirmed that it has been shot in the HEAD it is Illegal to shoot in a built up area and this has been reported to the Police.’ (Weymouth Wildlife Rescue).
If anyone knows this sad excuse for humanity then don’t hesitate to do something you will be proud of…
