Officers investigating a racially aggravated public order incident in Bournemouth are issuing a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to.

At approximately 10.35pm on Saturday 3 August 2019 a group of black women went to the toilet in the Slug & Lettuce bar on Richmond Hill when an altercation occurred involving another woman.

The woman made racially aggravated comments toward one of the group during the incident.

Police Sergeant Phil Hampton, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my investigation to establish the full circumstances of the incident I have carried out a number of enquiries, including CCTV trawls from the bar.

“I am releasing an image of a woman who I would like to speak to as she may have vital information to assist my investigation.

“I would ask anyone who knows who the woman pictured is to contact Dorset Police.”
